All the characters of “Demon Slayer” and “Mugen Train” will feature in the upcoming season. The following list contains the list of confirmed voice cast members and their characters:

  • Natsuki Hanae as Tanjiro
  • Akari Kitô as Nezuko
  • Hiro Shimono as Zenitsu Agatsuma
  • Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Inosuke Hashibira

We are only sure about the return of the Japanese voice cast. There is no word on the English dubbing. But we are expecting the same voice cast will play their respective counterparts.

After the release, we got a spin-off movie, “Mugen Train,” which featured the same characters from Demon Slayer. In this series, we got to see Tanjiro and his friends (also demon slayer) embarking on a perilous journey. The storyline of Mugen Train slightly deviates away from the main plot, but if you want to consume some Demon Slayer content, you should definitely give it a watch. However, it is not necessary to watch to understand the storyline of Demon Slayer Season 2.

The finale of the first season revealed that Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke got their next big project as the members of the Demon Slayer Corps. This group had to face a demonic group led by Muzan Kibutsuji, the demon responsible for the murder of Tanjiro’s family.

Judging from the trailer, Demon Slayer Season 2 will follow the group while they go to Yoshiwara. This place is renowned for “bright lights and dark desires,” so expect many dark scenes in the upcoming season. Tanjiro, as a demon slayer, will have to face even deadlier enemies. Most likely, he’ll fight against Upper Moon or two.
