Dan Bilzerian was born in Tampa, Florida, on December 7, 1980, to his father Paul Bilzerian and his mother Terri Steffen. He has Armenian way from his father’s side. He grew up with his younger brother, Adam Bilzerian.
His father, Paul, was just starting to get rich when Dan was born. By the time Dan was in primary school,  His father Paul had become one of the richest businessmen in the area. Paul was imprisoned in 1991 but he was smart enough to get trust funds for both his sons.
Dan wanted to join the American army, obeying the route of his father. He joined the ‘University of Florida’ for his higher education but could not concentrate on his studies.
